DCI SmartBaffle is available in 16” and 24” on center rafters stock sizes. These insulation baffles are strong, durable, easy to work with and can be used in new construction or retrofit during renovations. DCI SmartBaffle 16″ has an out-of-the-box size of 18.5”W X 36”L X 4mm (thick) and is constructed of rigid, corrugated plastic with two bending routes each route at 2.25” in from the long edge. After installed, the DCI SmartBaffle is 14″ wide with 2″ flanges. These insulation baffles are strong enough to support spray foam expanding insulation creating the required air chute most shingle manufacturers require for shingle warranties. Sold by the case of 36 pcs. in 16″ width and 30 pcs. in 24″ width.

These baffles are by far the best. Those Big Box stores sell paper thin baffles that are flimsy, collapse and are way under-sized. I don’t want any call backs about soffits being blocked because the flimsy baffles collapsed and now no air is getting through. These SmartBaffles can be installed from roof top or attic side. I even pushed them down the rafter because I couldn’t reach that far and they were so sturdy….Thanks!
