The DCI CedarVent is made of HDPE polyethylene plastic for maximum durability and flexibility. You can order the CedarVent with a Weather Fabric on one edge for insect and snow protection called “Plus”. The CedarVent Plus (with Weather Guard fabric factory attached) and CedarVent (without Weather Guard fabric attached) allows air to travel in all directions through the built-in corrugated air channels and acts as a rain and condensate screen allowing moisture to drain and evaporate behind the cedar. CedarVent Plus (with Weather Guard fabric factory attached) and CedarVent (without Weather Guard fabric attached) come in 4 different ply’s based on thickness (1/8 in. = 1 ply, 3/8 in. = 2 ply, 1/2 in. = 3 ply, and 3/4 in. = 4 ply).
