It features a 24-gauge black powder coated galvanized steel hood with scalloped corners and turn-down edges. The mesh is made with 5/8″, 18-gauge, expanded galvanized steel specifically designed for use in California and Oregon. It also has a 14-gauge black powder coated galvanized steel base. This cap is designed to stand up to the elements. Designed for masonry flues only, not for use with metal air-cooled chimney systems.
