No, The newer version of the RidgePro does not use a threaded insert for the extension pole

When anchored, The RidgePro is compliant with OSHA standard 1926 Subpart M for a single user, withstanding and exceeding 5,000 pounds of static strength force. When not anchored, OSHA does not regulate “non-anchors” so you would be working with The RidgePro as an inspection tool, which grants 15 minutes of time on the roof before you must anchor.
