Q & A
The thermal switch is a small device that easily attaches to the fan motor. When the thermal switch is installed, it is designed to turn on the fan when attic temperature reaches 80°F, and it also turns off the fan when the attic temperature goes below 70°F. You can find it here.
Bryan L. answered on November 18, 2022 store managerThe Kennedy Skylights Solar Attic Fan does not come with a thermostat. There is a Thermal Snap Switch available, which will turn on the fan when attic temperature reaches 80°F, and it also turns off the fan when the attic temperature goes below 70°F.
