The Top Kit Extension is a section of rigid pipe made from 24ga 304 stainless steel that can be used to extend the height of the chimney to gain additional draft capacity for a poor performing chimney. The 304 is used for wood and wood pellet applications. Used in conjunction with out National Chimney Top Kit, simply remove the rain cap section from the top kit and install the rigid section inside the collar of the EZ Top Plate. Tighten the EZ Clamp around the collar of the EZ Top Plate securing the rigid section to the top plate making one complete unit. The extension piece has a bead connection at the top of attach the rain cap. Offered in 18″ and 24″ lengths. Top plate and rain cap not included.
