No, that was not correct, while it is sold in a 5 gallon container the specification sheet states that it weighs 8.34 pounds per gallon. So the correct weight is closer to about 42 pounds.
This product is applied with a sprayer. When applied to vertical surfaces it has a 10 year warranty.
