The Kennedy Polycarbonate Skylights do not have a clear lens, they have a light bronze tint.
There are many great features and advantages to Polycarbonate skylights such as high impact resistance, energy efficiency, superior weather performance and less yellowing. Generally, Styrofoam is an insulation benefit, however, we recommend contacting the manufacturer directly regarding the purpose of the Styrofoam.

I am very happy with this product. Although I complained about the very high shipping cost, it arrived undamaged.
It was a replacement for an old bubble type skylight that leaked and this installation looks much better and the leaking has stopped.
