The InOvate DryerJack Low Profile is made with heavy duty galvalume steel that has excellent corrosion resistance. This is sufficient protection, but it can be painted for extra protection.
There would be no issues using the InOvate DryerJack Low Profile with Roof Neck in a coastal area. Its heavy duty galvalume construction and thick powder coated finish offers plenty of protection from corrosion.
Unfortunately, the InOvate DryerJack Low Profile with Roof Neck cannot be used on a clay tile roof. This vent is designed to be used on asphalt shingle roofs.
It can, but not by itself. You would need the proper flashing for metal roofs that goes over the vent base.
