Found that the “access panel” which allows a person to more easily clean-out the dryer vent was shorter than how it appears in their stock photo of the product. Also, during installation, the flat metal flap which helps keep out the critters and such kept falling down rather than staying in place and resting on the edge of the top of the removable access panel. That made for some unexpected challenges during my install.

A very fine dryer vent hood – excellent functional design, very good materials, fabrication and finish. I especially like the removeable panel for ease of cleaning the dryer vent duct from the dryer up through the vent hood. So, so much better than other vents on the market typically sold by the big box stores. Definitely worth the cost of this vent. Thank you to the fine product and prompt delivery.
