Like all Draft King chimney caps, the outside mounting design engineers a maximum free air space allowing uninhibited chimney draft. It features a 24-gauge 100% copper hood with scalloped corners and turn-down edges. The mesh is made with 3/4″, 18-gauge, expanded 100% copper. It also has a 16-gauge copper-plated stainless-steel base.
This copper chimney cover combines the decorative elegance of pure copper with the durable construction and functionality. It is an exceptional cap that will naturally oxidize and develop an attractive patina over time.
