The Bernard Chim-A-lator Deluxe Fireplace Damper easily mounts on top of a masonry fireplace flue and is operated by a convenient, adjustable regulator installed on the side wall of the fireplace. It is far more efficient than conventional cast iron dampers and the ideal replacement for old defective fireplace dampers. The Bernard Chim-A-lator Deluxe Fireplace Damper has been proven for over 40 years to be the most trouble-free top-dealing damper.
It is constructed of 304 stainless steel, an 18 gauge frame, and expanded metal screen. The Bernard Chim-A-lator Deluxe Fireplace Damper also has a 24 gauge cap and a 20 gauge damper rail. It has a six-position lever handle that not only makes this damper one of the easiest to use top mounted dampers on the market today, but allows for control of the amount of draft. (Includes a 30’ cable and 7’ cable shield.) The Bernard Chim-A-lator Deluxe Fireplace Damper fits the following chimney flue sizes:
