It expands and contracts with the roofs movements to resist damage. This coating also provides a protective barrier which reflects the suns heat and destructive UV rays. In turn, this helps to cool surfaces and leads to a reduction of roof temperatures. APOC 247 expands and contracts up to 275% and provides good adhesion to a variety of roofing substrates.

The manufacturer recommends 4 hours between recoats, and 24 - 36 hours for a full cure. The temperature range for application is between 55 °F and 110°F for a 24 hour period. For more information on the application process please read the Technical Data Sheet (TDS).
Yes, if applied properly, it can be used for that application. You'll want to make sure the roof is clean and dry and the weather is at appropriate temperatures when applying.
