Product Summary

The APOC 482 Polyester Reinforcing Fabric is a better alternative to conventional felts in tensile strength & elongation, tear strength, and puncture resistance. It provides ideal reinforcement for cold-applied water-based asphalt or acrylic emulsion coatings, solvent-based coatings, and mastics. The APOC 482 Polyester Reinforcing Fabric is high quality and has durable reinforcement due to its stitch bonded polyester.

The APOC 482 Polyester Reinforcing Fabric can be used for roof restoration systems, repair of roof splits, and base flashing details. The reinforcing fabric is commonly used with asphalt emulsion and/or solvent-based cold process systems. For materials such as cements, neoprene sealants, asphalt coatings, white roof mastic and white elastomeric coatings this product can be used as reinforcement. The APOC 482 Polyester Reinforcing Fabric’s stitch-bonding offers an unique combination of high strength properties. It has good elongation for excellent thermal stress force accommodations. The APOC 482 Polyester Reinforcing Fabric is available in both soft and firm variations.

APOC 482S is a soft polyester that will readily conform to rough spudded gravel surfaces and standing seam metal roof decks. It is also much easier to handle and apply properly than other soft polyester sheets.

APOC 482F is a firm polyester that will track straight in field areas. It is also much easier to handle and apply without ridging or wrinkles.
